The illustration of the poem of Lord Byron “The Maid of Athens” written in 1810. This poem is dedicated precisely to the Arvanite/Albanian beauty Teresa Makri, which was the platonic love of Lord Byron and one of his muses during his stay in Athens. Teresa Makri (1797 – 1875) was married to a British officer named James Black with whom she had four children.

Kjo poemë i është dedikuar te bukurës Arvanitase / Shqiptare, Teresa Makri, e cila ishte dashuria platonike e Lord Bajroni dhe një nga muzat e tij gjatë qëndrimit të tij në Athinë. Teresa Makri (1797 – 1875) më pas u martua me një oficer britanik i quajtur James Black me të cilin ajo kishte katër fëmijë.
